After 4 months of hard work we're proud to announce StudioMini 2.0 and StudioMini XL 2.0. The UI was redesigned with a more photorealistic and pro look and many new features have been added.

StudioMini XL 1.3 is available

We're up to version 1.3 already! Moving fast :-) Already working on 1.4, but that will take longer because we're working on implementing some cool features that are technically a bit challenging. We'll leave it as a surprise as far as what they are, after all we like to make sure things work 100% correctly first.

StudioMini XL at the App Store

StudioMini XL for the iPad is out!

We sent it to Apple for approval Friday night and by Saturday afternoon it was on the App Store! Amazing turnaround, especially considering the delays we were used to with submitting OctoPod (our old name) and waiting for weeks. I'm not complaining, I'm just simply amazed and happy it's up and running.

StudioMini XL has 4 additional tracks and a new UI designed specifically for the iPad taking advantage of the larger screen. Hope you enjoy :-)

New and improved name

We were working on a couple of bug fixes when Apple called. Specifically we were having a very strange and random disappearance of the fader on the mixer's Drum track. Nothing logical, some strange OS bug that just appeared on the 3GS and the new hardware iPod touch. Anyway, coincidentally we got a call from Apple demanding that we change OctoPod's name due to copyright infringement (??). So we decided on...StudioMini! Fixed the bugs, changed the name and here we are actually happier with the new name, makes more sense :-)
